Green Acre Poultry Palace Chick & Egg Sales Policy:

  • We have the right to refuse/cancel sales at any time, for any reason.

  • No birds will leave without payment received. We accept cash, Venmo or PayPal.

  • Our birds are sold healthy to the best of our knowledge and we will not be held accountable for issues after the sale is finalized and the bird/birds leave the property.

  • All of our chicks are sold as straight run unless stated otherwise.

  • We will let you know the temperament of each breed but we can not guarantee how the birds will act once they go to their new home.

  • We take biosecurity seriously at our farm and reserve the right to limit visits to breeding pens of our birds.

  • Please bring a box or carrier when you come to pick up chicks and/or adult birds. However, if you happen to forget we do have extra boxes.

What You Need to Know About Hatching Eggs & Chick Orders:

  • I prioritize chick preorders and hatching eggs.

  • If you want chicks, email us using the button below to let us know what breeds you want, how many, and what week you would like them. We will be keeping chicks this year for at least 24 hours before selling.

  • We set eggs every 6 days so this means you must let us know at least 3 weeks ahead of time to get the eggs in the incubator.

  • Be aware that we only get so many eggs from each pen and we might not be able to complete certain large orders or double orders (for example, if two people want the same breed that week). I will be putting extra of each breed in the incubator in case a few eggs do not hatch.

  • Pre-orders for chicks are welcome with a 50% down payment.

  • Hatching eggs are available for shipping this year. We ship eggs on Mondays and Tuesdays via USPS 2-Day Priority Shipping. It costs a little more, but your eggs are handled less and get to you quicker. Each egg is individually wrapped, put in a box, that box is bubble wrapped and put in another bubble wrapped box.

  • Chicks will be our #1 priority so if a chick order takes up all of our eggs that week, we will not be able to fulfill your hatching egg request. If your request cannot be complete, your order will then be moved to the following week. As always, please feel free to email us with questions!
